10-pack Manufactured using the same specifications as our standard 9/64" Split Point drill bit, this premium version is titanium nitride (TiN) coated, adding considerably to the lifespan of the bit. TiN coating is harder than carbide and provides greater edge retention and corrosion resistance. The split point tip tracks well in all types of materials and is recommended for use with a No.7 screw. This bit is ideal for particularly dense hard wood stock, plywood, and other composite materials.
