Manufactured to the same specifications as our standard 9/64" brad point drill bit, our Premium Bit is Titanium Nitrate (TiN) coated, adding considerably to the life to the bit. TiN coating is harder than carbide and provides greater edge retention and corrosion resistance. The Brad and Spur tip tracks well in all types of materials and is recommended for use with a #7 screw. This bit is ideal for hard woods including the more dense species.
